The Albin World Music Library was launched in the fall of 2017 by Miami University Professor Emeritus, William Albin. Miami University’s Center for Digital Scholarship is facilitating the development of the archive and will host the site. The physical collection will be located at Miami University Special Collections and Archives. The content documents Albin’s music fieldwork in the countries of Ghana, India, and on the island of Bali in Indonesia. The site includes video recordings of performances, teaching sessions, and rehearsals. Transcriptions are created in the Finale, a music-writing program.
