The skeletal melody is expanded in this beleganjur version to a three-note pattern, played by three performers. This supporting gong melody repeats throughout the piece, a characteristic that is similar in most beleganjur compositions. The camera then focuses on the cymbal section. He uses the tromping instrument from the gamelan gong kebyar ensemble for the demonstration. The tromping; however, is never used in a gamelan beleganjur ensemble. The typical beleganjur marching ensemble requires four performers for reyong part. Each performer carries one of the tuned reyong gongs.
